Why Philippines?
The Philippines is one of the top offshore outsourcing destinations in the world (ranked 2nd after India) and is particularly sought after by Australian businesses because it offers the best cultural fit for Australian and New Zealand customers, as well as exceptional value for money. The Philippines has a large and young population (median age of 23 years old) with literacy rates of 97.5%, and annually produces more than 680,000 college and university graduates (Australia approx. 300,000 p.a.) contributing to the pool of qualified and skilled workers.
What tasks can I outsource?
Pretty much anything that doesn’t require the person to be physically present here in Australia.
Can I hire a part-time staff member?
Unfortunately no. We only hire full time dedicated staff for you.
What hours do the staff work?
The staff will work your hours. Usually 9am to 5.30pm.
Is there a recruitment fee?
No. We don’t charge a recruitment fee.
How long does it take to hire a staff member?
Usually it takes about 2 weeks to hire a staff member unless the skills required are specialist skills in which case, sometimes it may take longer.
Do the staff work from home?
No. All our staff work from our secure facility in Cebu.
Who manages the staff?
All HR and Infrastructure functions are managed by us. There will be dedicated team leaders who look after this but you train and manage them with regards to your functions.
How do I pay invoices?
Invoices are generated on the 15th of each month and due by the 25th of that month for the next month. As an example: Invoices for April are generated on the 15th of March and payable by the 25th of March. Payment can be made via credit card or direct transfer.
Do they work on Australian Public Holidays?
Not unless you want them to. The staff match the Australian public holidays in your state. Staff still work on Philippines public holidays if it is a usual working day in your state.
How do I talk to the staff every day?
You can use a variety of software such as Google Hangouts, Zoom or Skype. Its quite common for clients to constantly chat with their staff member throughout the day and hop on a video call if need be.
How do I know the staff are actually working? How do I monitor them?
All staff computers have a software installed called TimeDoctor. You’ll have access to it as well. This software takes a screenshot of the staff computer on a random basis every 1 to 5 minutes. You can check these screenshots on your TimeDoctor login.
